The diaspora community contributes significantly to the somalian economy. Mainly in the form of remittances/ donations to local or clan-based needs and projects, built on personal trust.
By transforming this trust into the digital world, we can operate in a larger scale + attract descendants who grew up in western societies (and in Norway make up half the somali population).
There is significant saving capacity within the diaspora community. Attractive reward schemes and investment possibilties into high-quality, low-risk projects can increase the amount of available funds to rebuild Somalia.
